Controlling my 10850K?

I dont know if I would be comfortable or not deliding the CPU anyways, im happy with the temps atm anyhow..for such a hot chip / chips, I am satisfied :)...for now :D

@Zeebedy yes they are soldered but its pretty soft replaced the solder with liquid metal i have done the following i9 10900K 10900KF & 10850K

Scrape solder off with plastic razor and the remaining solder will disolve with liquid metal clean off and then apply normally

I played a good hour and a half last night, of far cry new dawn, (great game btw) first really long session I have had on my new setup, (minus escape from tarkov) and after checking temps, the hottest core was bang on 80c..

obviously the in game averages are less as that 80c is the peak temp..and just wanting to know if that is acceptable?

my gpu is awesome, it wasn’t pegged out, but close to it, and I peak around 65c. So really really happy with that.

Played some FC5 ND again, the average temp for all 10 cores were mid 50s. So pleased with that! :)

One core though, (core 6) was a lot higher for the most part than the rest? Is this the core using single boost, hence why its was slightly hotter??

Yes. Not just using single boost but the core usage amount. I use RivaTuner overlay while gaming to see CPU core usage and there's always at least one core pegged to max or close to it.
