Hi

We have 10mb ntl and one of their little blue modems. I have my k-corp wireless router attached to it, and everything is great.

I was wondering if i can access the modem through my pc, e.g. to restart it, or would u have to go and power it off at the plug socket ?

cheers

'fraid you will have to go and unplug it (unless some ntl engineer can tell me otherwise)

You can log into 192.168.100.1 with username/password of root to look at status and statistics, but do not muck about with the settings

hi there was a command that apprantley worked on another forum that allowed you to reboot the cable modem! Will have a quick look and let you know.
