Hi all.

Just wondering if anyone can help me to control the order in which programs start during Vista startup.

I want to keep the programs that do start up (such as AVG, MSN etc) on boot but i want them in a certain order.

The problem is that my laptop has a button to start the wireless connection. Now this button is controlled by a launcher application, but that launcher app. doesnt get started until after everything else.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You can delay the startup of services in Vista via "Services" under admniistrative tools in the control panel (and via a reg hack in xp etc)

This may help you with AV startups etc if then run as a service.

Just a thought.
