Convert DVD to Xvid / DivX and Vista

What's the easiest and quickest method to do this, just wanna put my futurama episodes on the computer, and a couple of my movies.

Well this is illegal, but the mods don't actually care about it.

You can use a program like virtual dub or super, I would reccomend using h.264 rather than xvid though because it is higher quality, and use 2-pass mode as well, you will also need a dvd decryptor.

Why don't you just use DVD Decrypter to demux the movie video and sound and remultiplex them as a MPEG2? You'll have the EXACT same PQ and SQ as the DVD.

You don't even need to demux them, the .vob mpeg2 files will play with no modification, but pal dvds are 5GB+.
