Convert Physical Windows Systems Into Virtual Machines

Coincidentally this is something I was looking at just this morning, I will endeavour to try and convert my desktop XP install to a .vmx this evening and let you know how it goes..
 
Thanks, I hadn't seen this before - basically looks like an updated and free version of their former P2V product for ESX server. I'll be giving this a try very soon :)
 
Well, it worked like a treat.. the only "issues" were:

- asks to validate Windows again
- tries to install drivers for "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)" but fails, you need to install VMWare Tools to overcome this

Apart from that, it works fine :)
