As the title

Trying to convert some (wma+drm) legitimately bought music files to use on Mac.

Can it be done on Mac (pref for free!) ?

Tried on PC with various encoders to no avail, and ripping to CD - it just won't take!

Even the vendor won't supply it in anything other than wma - grr.

Burn to CD and re-import?

For some reason it won't let me burn them to CD!?

Just trying Audacity now.

What's annoying, is I've fairly paid for these music tracks.Grr.

Audacity didn't work.

Finally got there by using Nero(WPM just wouldn't work) to burn it to CD, and then ripped it back to mp3.

But lost all the combined album info now.

Hard work tbh.

Best thing I have found for this very task is EasyWMA. this is a great little app that will convert WMA to MP3 along with a bunch of other formats, and allows you to queue up multiple files.

It does cost $10 but is a handy little tool, I mean that's only really £5 and is a cracking piece of software.
