Hi,

Need to convert an 11MB word file to pdf. Have tried several online converting sites such as zamzar but they fail for larger files like this. Also installed Bullzip PDf on my comp and this only converts the first 20 pages (there are 58 in total).

Any ideas?

Thanks

google "PDF Creator", its free and installs as a printer on your pc. Once installed hit file > print > select PDF Creator printer > hit print - Job done

If you've got Adobe Reader installed you can just print to PDF from Word can't you?

Spot on!

Worked like a charm - that one is way faster than Bullzip PDF convertor.

I use dopdf which installs as a printer so you just print to it.

Fine for most things although can lose some graphics stuff if you are printing webpages to it.

It's free too.

No, its fail, compared to PrimoPDF anyway

It works, every time and has never, ever failed me.

What more do you need from a PDF distiller exactly and how does it working as advertise equate to fail?

Just looking at the website I can see that PrimoPDF has bloat I do not want nor need. I want a PDF, from a document - no bells and whistles for me!

There are some seriously shoddy PDF converters out there, that cause all kind of problems when printing. Mainly not embedding or totally mucking up embedding fonts, resulting in square boxes and random characters.

PrimoPDF being one of the worst!

have to deal with them day in day out! *sigh*

Hmm, not really. Yes, it works. Primo has no bloatware though, doesn't tell you that you need an additional addon download during install, make loads of cmd windows flash on your screen or redirect to a screen telling you that the $49.95 pro version is really what I need. Therefore, it is far simpler for the normal user to use, download and install. Kind of the reason, I guess it's the number one print driver PDF :)

Its also never failed to replicate a document in PDF format for me, but then neither has Cute
