Hi i have a problem with my toshiba a120 (wont boot up and power led flashes), now i have read the led flashes as code 11011101.

Now is this a 8bit hex code or something?, i just need to convert it to a decimal number so i find out what the fault is, any idea how to do this?

That's binary code. Open Calculator (Windows) in Scientific/Programmer mode and select 'Bin', paste the code and select 'Dec'. That particular number is 221.
