im trying to convert a .avi file into dvd format using a program called AVI2MPEG2 v1.24
now... i want this to go on a DVD but how do i limit the file size (so that it doesnt go over DVD disc size) and am i doing anything wrong when it says its going to take 22hours to encode (and rising)!?!
ive been trying to use a guide but its very brief, everythings set to pal, resolution at 720x576 (correct?)

would have put this in optical drives and storage but seeing as its half and half of software and hardware this place is a bit more active
