Converting DVD video to PAL MP4 files in sony vegas movie studio?

I want to put a collection of video DVD's onto my computer and convert them to MP4 format for archival, I import the dvd video into Sony vegas studio just fine but there's no render option to create a PAL equivalent h.264 file, ie 720x576 25fps (deinterlaced), google hasn't helped me here either, surely there must be a way to do something as simple as this in such an advanced editng program?

Just create the profile you want and render?

I use Handbrake to do the task, using the High Profile preset. Works nicely for streaming to the PS3, also.

I can't see any way to create render templates.

I'd use that if I just wanted to do a straight rip but I need to edit it.
