Ok, my current setup works, and it works wonderfully well.
Here is the basics of how it is :-
ATARI Falcon has DIGITAL OUT
This Digital out goes into the DIGITAL IN on *** front of a SBLIVEDRIVE
The Digital is using the AUX/RCA Connectors not the Optical
The Synths / Keyboards / Sampler etc, each are all ANALOG.
These all go to my MIXER, and the output of the mixer is going to the LINE-IN of the SBLIVEDRIVE
This as I said, works, and it works great, however, it does mean, that while I am workign on my projects, I need to have the PC running ( It does most of the time anyway, but thats not the point ), and so, since the digital output from my Atari is only really for the D2D, I dont need to have it all the time, and so, I simply unplug the output from the mixer, and just put it into a basic 2.1 Speaker setup.
Again, this works for me, but I really need a better solution.
What I need is a way to convert the DIGITAL RCA OUTPUT into an ANALOG signal so, I can simply add that to the mixer.
The snag is, that every option I have come across, is kind of ridiculously priced...
Given, that ******s once did a project ( And no, I have asked but they cannot help ) that converts digital into Analog for a tenner, the companies asking for these devices are really being stupid.
Anyone know what Im after?
