Converting MKV DTS Sound to DD 5.1?

Nearly all my MKV's are DTS only but unfortunately because I'm routing everything through a 4x2 HDMI Matrix box DTS doesn't work and can only get PCM or DD 5.1 which tbh I'd be happy with as I really cant tell the difference!

So what is the quickest easiest and cheapest way to convert a DTS MKV to a DD MKV preferably without re-encoding video?

Seems to work great and is simpler and quicker than the method you posted, you might like to try it yourself

I also have 2 x LG TV's connected through my HDMI Matrix box and thus get the same problem as you

I've done a few movies now and have decided to keep the DTS along with the AC3 sound track as you never know what the future will bring!!!!
