Converting My DVD's to IPad

Well, not actually mine, but m dads , the thing is whatever you recommend for doing this needs to be able simple, I am not bothered about the cost, more the user experience , my dad is fairly IT illiterate and when I move to the states he won't hae me around.

Any suggestions ?

Handbrake should do the trick, several presets allow you to convert them to iPad/AppleTV/iPhone etc.

Its pretty simple, it can just take a while to do each dvd.

If he has good wifi then i suggest the air video app works great and converts on the fly so he can keep his dvds on his pc and just stream them.

Perhaps not what you are looking for but simpler.
