Converting to Hard Tube

Tell me about it, those fans won't be staying there. I'll swap them for the Vardars once I take my current machine apart. They are just there for "measurement" purposes.

Pretty happy with the initial result. I hope I measured it correctly, but I am pretty sure the GFX card fits in behind there :p. And I only burned myself once on the heatgun!

So here is where I've got to so far this weekend:

As you can see, nothing is actually where I first expected it to be. Turns out that the graphics card hit the side of the original position for the pump/res combo. So I removed the radiator from the bottom of the case, and stuck it in at the front (as least now the ugly Noctua fans are hidden), and I changed the reservoir for the smaller capacity one so that I could fit it at the bottom without hitting the GPU.

The actual flow also changed as I quickly realised that the actual length of the tubes that I had were going to cause some issues. So I've gone pump > cpu > rad 1 > GFX > rad 2 > pump. I stared at it for ages trying to think of the neatest way to get it done, but this was the best i could come up with with the parts that I have.

I just need to add the path from the 2nd Radiator back to the pump now. That will also have a drain valve on it too, so I've left that job for tomorrow.

Will update again then when my PC is covered in water :D. I pray the new parts I have all actually work, because taking this apart now would not be fun!

Cheers!

Leak testing now underway! One small drip from the underside of the GPU block, but tightened the fitting up a bit, and it's been fine ever since!

Looking really good indeed. I so need to change my tubing to the hard stuff and get it looking more like this.
