I know this is the pedal powered forum, but figured there might be more appropriate knowledge in here than GD!
A couple of days ago I fixed a puncture in one of our pram tyres. It was easily the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. The tyre was so tight that I really had to force it over the rim and I couldn't keep the inner tube flush in the tube. I got it in there in the end, but the tube was almost definitely twisted and stretched. Sure enough today the tube went bang.
Rather than potentially destroy my hands and/or any object within reach trying to fix it again, is there any way I can convert the tyre to be solid? I thought about that slime stuff, but didn't realise that just lined the tube rather than fill it. Also the tube has a big hole in it now so it'd likely just leak through it. Any ideas?
