Convince me to keep my PS4 white.

So, i've accidently bought a PS4 off a lad at work, more to help him out than for myself, but for the price he was asking i couldn't turn it down, it's a couple of weeks old with the receipt and i got it cheap with borderlands handsome edition. However, i don't feel i have the need for one. I play GTAV on PC, so what other uses does it have other than games / blu ray?

If you already have a gaming PC then you only need a console for playing exclusives. If there aren't any PS4 exclusives you want to play then there's little point in keeping it.

Many, but it's primary function is a games console. The clue is in the name..

Unless its limited edition if you're not going to use it might as well sell it before it depreciates in value.

Other than blue ray and games it has media apps but if you have a smart tv/dongle/pc hooked up it probably wont be anything new to you.

If you got it for a bargain price, appreciate it and keep it. They'll be something that eventually takes your fancy, what about when you have mates round, would you not prefer to play a game or two in front of the TV etc?

I use my only for Sky Go really at the mo but unless I suddenly go into debt there is no need for me to sell.

Keep it, I was a hardcore pc gamer but love my PS4. Great console and its only going to get better.

No idea why these threads exist though, totally pointless.

While I don't have a PS4, I don't see a reason to get one right now. I'd have bought one if it had PS3 backwards compatibility, but I got tired waiting and bought a PS3 in January. I'd recommend keeping it, even if you won't play on it. E3 is coming, so hopefully they will announce games for those of us that aren't interested in lazy HD remasters/ports or the few decent games like Bloodborne and Infamous. I'm not into Dark Souls, so ofc BB won't be my cup of tea. Could be your reason to keep the PS4 though.

If you like collecting dust, then keep it. Honestly, if you're asking then it seems you want rid. Sell it on, get something for it rather that sat doing nothing.
