This may seem a bit like a stupid question but how do you cook chicken breasts? Well not how but what marinades do you use etc? Currently I find my self just chopping up the chicken and stir frying it most of the time but I'm after some ideas on other recipes for chicken breast and thighs.

Thanks

Zefan's link will give you lots of ideas, yeah. Chicken breasts are slightly different to thighs in that the meat tends to be drier (due to being leaner). You will likely want to slightly reduce cooking times for them and you'll probably also find that longer marinades and/or use of more liquidy sauces will yield better results.

Two chicken stock cubes in olive oil to make a paste, then marinade the chicken breasts/rub it on. Gently fry, turning once. Season while in the pan.

DO NOT press chicken breasts while they're frying, everybody thinks this makes them cook faster but all youre doing is squashing the juice out.

Alternatively, a marinade made out of lemon juice, thyme, oilve oil, garlic and salt & pepper.

That second one sounds pretty damn tasty :)
