When following microwave meal instructions, do you follow them to the tee?

Personally if a meal calls for removing the meal and stirring, I don't bother I just add up all the time totals and then cook.

Do you remove and stir?

Do you find doing this improves the meal?

It depends a bit on how complicated the food is, eg if its a curry then I won't stir but if its a roast dinner with different times for each of the ingredients then yes I follow the instructions.

Thanks

Read instructions. See that it says to take out and turn around half way through. Microwave has a turntable.

There isn't a lot that comes out of a microwave in a decent state tbh... although lately I have mastered scrambled eggs in one.

Can't remember the last time I had a microwave meal.
I usually over heat things in the microwave though, because I like my food so hot that it burns my mouth.

Why is this in La Cuisine?

"The place to talk about good food, cooking and wine." Spie would be spinning in his grave.

I tend to follow the instructions.

To those saying they'd rather have a proper cooked meal, I'd agree, but I don't particularly enjoy cooking, and sometimes I just want some food.
