Hi

I just recently bought a nice 9800GX2 to run Age of Conan in all it's glory. To keep an eye on how it was running, I also decided to download the nVidia Monitor and nTune software.

A few minutes ago I was playing AoC with the nVidia Monitor in the background. When I checked the GPU temps I nearly had a heart attack! The monitor software reported my GPU temps at 98 degrees Celcius with AoC running. Having check, they appear to be stable around 70 degrees with nothing fancy running.

These temps seem extremely high to me, but I'm unsure whether or not the Monitor software is accurate. Can anyone offer some advice to me on this?

Many thanks.

also, apparently some say it's not such a great idea to use nTune...

anyways, rivatuner is accurate enough. and nte that those cards DO put out a lot of heat
