Cooking question (marinades)

I was going to dry marinade some chicken in a mixture of spices overnight to put in a curry tomorrow. Would adding yoghurt to the mix make any difference?

yes marinade penetrates further with yoghurt. Heston tested it in an MRI scanner. The blocks a legend.

Overnight is probably too long for marinade - 6 hours tops hould be fine

longer the better for things like chicken all night or 24hours.

I marinaded it overnight and I didn't notice much difference, if any. It probably makes more of an impact on big hunks of meat, right?

yep depends on size and what you are marinating with. Acids and stuff will also help tenderise tough meat.
