Carrying on the theme of all things food related anyone here got a clever solution to this?

I am having Pie & Chips for my tea. However I only have 1 oven and they both require differing heats/time

The pie wants 30 - 35 on Gas mark 4 whilst the chips want 20 mins on Gas mark 9 :|

How does one accomplish this without ruining both items?
 
cook pie for 30 mins then bung in with hips for last 5-8 with foil over top - wont burn, will get hot and finish cooking.

Total time 50 mins
 
Put them in at the same time and check 5 mins before the end to see what the chips are like, you can always move which ever is cooked first to the bottom of the oven.
