Cooking: What to put in a posh picnic?

Hi,

Trying to put together a nice picnic.

Was wondering what to include, given the amount of keen cooking enthusiasts I thought I'd ask for some ideas.

So far:

- half bottle of champagne
- cheese and biscuits (blue and mature cheddar that I'd already of sliced.

Unsure of what else, sandwiches etc. Maybe olives?

Rocket salad
Vinaigrette and croutons
Smoked salmon
Prawn cocktail
Scones
Humous
 
Gilly must be posh to suggest all that so print off his list and get buying!!

Edit, how about some crusty bread too?
 
Some jam and cream to go with those scones.

Damn you Gilly, you've set off a need for grapes.

jam sandwiches
strawberries
rasperries
crab apples
tin of squirty cream
white lightning or some other classy cider

you should be able to source the fruit localy just check a few back gardens

edit: dont forget hard boiled eggs
 
pate, smoked fish or meats, may be a nice game pie, chutney, make some scotch eggs (not nasty shop ones), coronation chicken, some cold meat
