Seen a few cooking threads around, so I thought I would add my own.

I was sent this link today and though "Hey, I can do that":

Opting for "proper" bacon, I went for the smoked variety... and began the process

Having stuck the wonderfully weaved pattern in the over for about 20 minutes at gas mark 6 I thought it was time to "chees it up":

There is something wrong with the next picture, see if you can spot what it is:

Thats right happy campers.... not enough cheese:

Having whacked the cheesy goodness back in the oven for another 10 minutes, the result was somewhat pleasing:

Yes it tasted great, no I dont feel like a fat *******, but I am going to hit to hit the sack for a couple of hours.

I think the result could have come out a lot better had I not been so impatient, and actually waited till the bacon had cooled a bit more before rolling it with the cheese.

If it were legal to marry a rasher of bacon, I would be first in line.

I would smoother that bacon roll over every part of my body.... mmmmmmmm!

Next time I'll be using longer pieces of bacon, and mixing the cheese with black pudding and chicken pieces. Should make for another tasty crusade.

I made a bacon explosion for my din dins myself today, with cheese in the center mixed in with the fried bacon bits! Next time I will be adding cheese inbetween the sausage meat and bacon weave as well as a light cheesy sprinkling on the top... cheese definitely is the future! :x
