Spec me a frozen pizza. :p

There's nothing I hate more than thinking to myself, "Ooh I picked up that Goodfellas Pizza today. Must pop it in the oven"

Only for it to taste like a mix of rubber and cardboard.

Does anyone know of a pizza that's decent in any way?

I live 3 mile from town and as yet no mode of self transport otherwise I'd be in the best Pizzeria in Northern Ireland every day.

Preferably Margherita pizzas please as they're my favourite. Nice and simple. :)

I've heard good things about the Oetker ones. :)

Remember buying two of Sainsbury's own pizzas once when they were on 2 for a fiver. could have been sick they were so bad. Threw the 2nd one out.

I must say, Im enjoying the Tesco's own brand ones myself. Deep pan, 4 cheese.

Pop it on the top shelf of the oven at the same time you turn the oven on.
Have a look at about 12 minutes or so. Don't let any of it brown. Just go yellow and melty cheesed.
Take it out, cut it up, get a beer, eat pizza, drink beer and be merry.

:)

The only one near me is 7 miles away.

It would need to be pizza heaven to be worth it.

Some of the Oetker are nice I'll agree. However, I have found that the crusts can get really dry, and when you chew it it breaks in to sharp jagged bits and the crust has cut my gums in the past :(

lol I'm a pizza nazi :D

Pizza express ahve the best fresh pizzas you can cook at home ( foun int he chilled( not frozen) section in most supermarkets. theyre expensive btu you get what you pay for.

the best frozen pizza I have had so far has been morrisons own brand! not the ones in the over sized thick box though. cant remember which it is.

3rd place would be Chicago town 'takeaway' pizza - not how a pizza should be made, but they are very nice and very filling.

but yea, the most authentic pizza has to be pizza express. the name / brand does not suggest that though :/

Dr Oetker are *okay* but again, not how pizza should be - despite the convincing adverts.

failing that - make your own. they are extremly easy to make, but every tiem you make one you will find a way to make it better and better. I'e got mty recipe down to a fine art - it may eserve a thread some day.
