Well I finally decided to start publishing my recipes. Week on week I will be adding a new recipe to my blog. I hope that this is of use to people who want to learn how to cook simple but tasty meals without having to take expensive courses. I’m no chef and what I do I do in my spare time. If anyone can think of interesting recipes or ways to improve on what I have already done please feel free to comment on my blog. I currently only have 1 recipe published but know many more so stay tuned!

Indeed. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't have one. Modern dishwashers are (apparently) more energy/water efficient than doing it by hand.

Loading/empting? Just fill it throughout the day as stuff gets dirty and turn it on at night.

Smitho3 - nice site? I'll be sure to check back soon for more recipes.

Thanks Adz, next week is vanilla creme brulee yum!

Thanks nice blog - added to my feeds.

If I had one bot of advice would be to try to improve the quality of the photo of the final meal, as you said yourself, presentation is all important!

yes I know, kind of embarrassed about the picture quality, even with a 5mp camera phone the quality is still poor! Never mind eh? Eventually I will be able to afford a decent camera!

Agreed. And with the absence of all the fat and salt, your diet will be so much better.

I was just looking at your bubble and squeak and it reminded me about sprouts. Usually I detest the things, but I've recently become accustomed to having them in salads (just the leave peeled away and then used like a normal salad leaf). I highly recommend it :)

Burnsy

Interesting use of sprouts there! I guess the bitterness would make a nice addition to a herb salad!

If your looking for idea's this valentines day take a look at my blog (Link in sig)! I just posted the 2 course meal i cooked last night. Enjoy.

P.S Theres a video of me tossing on there as well! ;)

Your Valentine's starters looks really tasty. But the main looks a bit out of place. The chicken looks really damn good, but the potatoes just look like they've been thrown on there without thought. Presentation is almost there though.

Yes I agree with you on that one, and they were a little bland. In hindsight butter sautéed new potatoes with peas & bacon bits would probably have looked far better and tasted a great deal more exciting that new potatoes and butter! We live and learn!

Nice sight Smith, I'll keep a keen eye on it.

Interestingly, I've just started blogging recipes too, but with a better camera - ner ner :p.

Whats your blog link bud, ide like to see what you get upto in the kitchen :)
