Cool and Quiet PSU?

(Again sorry if this is in the wrong section, I did not find a sub-forum for PSUs)
Hey,

I'm still working on this rig (getting a good OC over at the CPU forum ;) ), but if there's one thing I definitely need to fix, it's my power supply.

I used a 500W power supply from my old system, and it definitely generates enough juice, but the problem is, and this is a huge problem, it's mind-bogglingly loud!

The PSU alone is louder than other people's entire air-cooled overclocked systems, and I'm running on water! Even if I unmount my graphics card and hard drive, with the only thing inside my entire system being PSU, mainboard (fan-less) and CPU (watercooled), my PC is just as loud as with everything else in place.

So I'm asking:
What's a good PSU to get (~600W) that's both cool and extremely quiet? And how much money should I expect to spend? (I'm prepared to spend around 50-80€, any more and I'll need to wait another month or two)

Also, what should I look for in a good PSU? I've managed to fry one before (luckily everything else survived it), but it was pretty scary and I want to avoid any damage to my new rig in case of another failure.

Is this a good PSU or should I stay clear of it?

-link removed, sorry-

(Since the page is in german, it has overloading, overheating and short circuit protection so I'm guessing it's safe. And since it's advertised as LowNoise I'm guessing it's pretty quiet in comparison to my current)

The Corsair above is a good choice. PSUs are a bit like digital cameras, many claim 12mp but can produce rubbish photos compared to a 6MP camera with quality lens and sensor. With PSUs most people just look at the wattage, while that is important it is the quality of the power in the rails it puts out. So a 550W Corsair is probably better (more stable current) than a higher wattage no name PSU.

Stick to a decent brand and you can't go wrong, you want a stable clean feed from a PSU and it is one of the most overlooked aspects of many builds. My personal preference is Corsair but most if not all of OCUK power supplies are of good quality.

+1 on the corsair 550W

tht will be more than enough juice to run it, but if your really concerned about the juice go for a 650W.

If you big on cable management try and go for a modular corsair as the normal psu has loads of cables :)

Is the Corsair pretty quiet? If so, that's probably what I'm going for.

Are any/all Corsairs quiet? I'm kind of limited since I have to buy something in my region (I live in Germany), so that exact model isn't available.
