I have a pg35vq which is rated 1000 nits but when booting up Cyberpunk for the first time it registered max luminance as something quite a bit over that mark which had me curious. I lost the figure it gave me after mucking about with settings and then after some googling came across this free app called DisplayHDRTest on the MS Store.

The app gives you a proper figure for your monitor's actual peak luminance which is important when setting it in games to get the most out of your display. 1107 is my peak luminance even though monitor is rated at 1000 so I know I'm getting the most out of my monitor by setting in game to 1100. Try it out!

Don't use HDR in cyberpunk 2077 as it broken and makes the game look worst then SDR
