hi there after recently blowing a motherboard i'm uping my cooling atm i have a 120mm fan and a standard cpu fan along with a rear fan blower and a hd cooler box that fits in a cd bay. i have just bought 2 replacment 120 mm fans due to noise and a speed controller.

can you suggest any cheap cpu coolers that dont sound like an helicopter taking off?

with my fan blower and cd bay cooler is there a way of adding a switch to them to turn them off? i looked at the wiring and they run stright off the powerbox connectors using an extension which then plugs into my dvd drive. im not sure where i can add the switch without shutting power off to the dvd drive? the same with my fan blower apart from that connects to a spare hd on the extension?.

another problem is the length of the wires to the back of the speed controller is there a way of extending them i dont see them reachign that far across my case?

wow i just ran speedfan and my gpu is at 80c under no stress can speed fan be wrong or am i in need of serious cooling? 9800gtx, not much space next to it as my pci express wifi is there so i need some small cooling suggestions

That's high. GPUs run relatively hot compared to CPUs, but 74-80 at idle isn't good.

I'd move the wifi card if possible (or replace it with a USB dongle) as that's quite likely causing a problem. It's the easiest thing to try, at any rate :-)
