its now been 5days since I built this and the temps have been up and down since it was hot sat-mon, they are idle at the moment:

CPU: 44'ish
VGA: 62'ish
HDD: 30'ish

heard things about 60c+ is bad, any info so I can reassure myself it won't melt?

LCD monitor (from X-Blade case) shows up as:

CPU: 37
VGA: 51
HDD: 25

if they go past 60c the alarm goes off which it was doing few days ago so I set it to 85c

at load, about 51 cpu and 72 gpu

kinda high and it wasn't even that hot outside yesterday

any advice? before the summer comes and overwhelms them..

okay, and in the meantime if it melts I can just replace it with the manafacturer right?

I'm kinda broke at the moment so I can't get any further cooling..

think the case has (similiar) to the akasa LED fan 120cm front (blows in) and back (blows out) and one 90mm on the side case (blows out), they seem very weak hardly enough blowing power.

there's no cables left from the psu to allow them to be fitted, so they are linked to the hard drive, dvd-rom & the side i think has an individual connection.. is it the power (580W) or that the runs speeds on the 120mm are 2000rpm? (akasa ones)

if I was to upgrade the cooling, what would I need?

CPU: Zalman CNPS9500-AM2 Aero Flower
VGA: Zalman VF900-CU Quiet Copper VGA Cooler

them any good? my cpu is AM2, as for the case fans, is it because they need power or are they just built slow :p any recommendations on them? (take away my cases lights :( )

alright new cpu cooler it is, now I just gotta save a load up for the removal stuff, arctic cooler and the fan.

probably stick with stock gfx cooler at the moment, £420 is a bit high to void the warrant, whereas the cpu I did myself so its really upto me about voiding thats warrant.

cheers guys

flooded with ideas :D , thanks all.
i'll do some research on it, if it gets any hotter i'll have to look for better cooling, still a bit worried about gpu though =P, i've had two gpu's burn out before this, and they used to run at 60-70 load (5700LE & 6600) they only lasted like a year :p

i'll consider folding aswell to do my part back to the community

in sig, Gainward bliss 7950 oc'd to 520mhz core and 1300mhz memory, just doing 10% oc's at the time being as to not overload em, cpu runs at 50-60 and gpu runs at 60-75, so just gonna sit back until I can get some better cooling.
