I've just done a fresh Windows 11 install (Laptop in sig) and during the tinkering process, came across the following tools:
EDIT - OpenRGB is not Legion-specific, and I couldn't find either of these tools mentioned in a quick search of the forum, hence the post (to enable others to find them if they search for any keywords used in this post).
- Lenovo Legion Toolkit - link
- This is a great replacement for Vantage and allows Vantage and Hotkeys to be replaced / disabled.
- OpenRGB - link
- For some reason, the Toolkit doesn't work with my keyboard, although it probably should.
- The coolest thing with this tool is the AmbientLight mode, which changes the key colours depending on what's being displayed, much like Philips Ambilight / Hue etc.
- Sure, AmbientLight sucks up a bit of GPU resource, but not enough to tip it into full power mode when not gaming.
