cool tweak in DMT tool

Well it was found by accident to be honest

In the modemoptions tab you get little boxes to fill in

Like 00=?? This is for tweaking snr


Now if you set 0F=03 or 06 or 09

The modem does some kind of error correction at the cost of some upload speed

But it doesn’t affect ping at all

Seems to be working because im now clocking up some FEC errors

Which I believe are correctable errors?

where can i get DM tool from thats in english
the last one i got was in a foreign language so i couldnt use it

Choose the correct one, when you first run it it gives the option of English.

Get the latest version - the older ones don't allow you to select the language so its in german I think...at least the older one I tried was.

it was a while when i lost got it and there was only the german version that i could find so assumed that someone on the net had converted it to english and kept looking for this version
