Hey Guys,

New to the forum so I guess this is me saying hi!

I thought I would jump in with you water cooling guys and ask for some advice. I'm about to install a custom loop and I'm pretty set on the hardware however I am struggling to make up my mind on the coolant!

I've been looking at the Mayhems Premix as it's well reviews on here. However its hard to get a gauge on what the colours look like when in a system rather than in a bottle!

So what I'm asking of you kind people is pictures of coolant in systems and most importantly which coolant it is!

(I'm particularly interested in blues and greens!) I'll stick up a full build log when I get the parts in to show my appreciation!

This is the Mayhems X1 UV red, no lighting yet and the tubing is Pimochill UV red tubing but u can see the colour in the res.

Main downside for me is that the res lacks colour :(
Purely opinion though.

I have to agree. The part of the watercooling I will see the most is the XSPC dual bay res! It would be a shame not to show it off! Kind of a head vs heart thing. I know there are horror stories of dyes staining tubing and gunking up waterblocks but coloured coolant just looks so cool!:p

Add descreet lighting to the res ;):

I know what you mean tho - horses for courses and the very cheap EK coolants OCUK are now stocking are a steal!

I have to say, that looks better than I would have expected w3bbo.

One downside though is that the colour isn't really spread through the res if you know what I mean? Again, purely personal.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I guess I just like to see the liquid sloshing around. Adding colour to a liquid makes it looks thicker imo if that makes sense.
