Hi there, my 2.6 had hgf, which has now been repaired hopefully. However, I've just removed the water pump to change it, and there is a coating of sludge inside the engine block. Its not too thick but there is a fiar bit there.
The engine hasn't been run for more than a minute or two since being in the car.
Also the rad is from a different car so is good and clean.
Whats the best thing to do? Give it a proper flush? If so what with and whats the best way to do it. Or just change the coolant again after it has had a proper run?
Thanks, Tom.
