I just installed an Antec Kuhler 1250 today as I fancied a change from the Phanteks cooler Ive been using for the last couple of years.
It was a ball ache to fit on an X99 board because of the placement of the top motherboard heatsink but i got around it in the end. It does seem to be performing a bit better than my old cooler but i have a question on the reported water temperature.
When stress testing my water temperature hasn't gone much above 40c but my CPU has touched 80c. I dont expect the temps to be the same but I just thought id ask some water cooling chaps if that sounded about right or if need to have another go at applying the TIM?
