Cooler for 4690K?

Hi,

I currently have a H100i GTX cooling my 4690K and I've never been happy with it - its too loud.

My previous CPU was a Phenom II 965 BE and I cooled that with a Noctua NH-D14, which was quiet and still kept temperatures in check without having to faff with custom fan curves or pump speeds.

What's a good air cooler these days? I've been considering the Dark Rock Pro 4, but that's mostly because I've got a Silent Base 801 and I like the build quality of the case.

Any suggestions welcome!

If you still have your DH14 you could use that perhaps?
Dark Rock Pro 4 as you said and DH15 as boomerang said. There's the scythe ninja 5 as well to complete the absolutely massive coolers.

Noctua U12S and U14S if you want single tower?

These ones are smaller and more affordable but also decent performance wise too.
Cryorig H7
Arctic Freezer 34 eSports duo

There's also Alpenfohn but I've not read much about them.

Unfortunately I don't have the D14 any more, I gave the whole system to a friend who had lost his job when I built this one. It would have been my first port of call otherwise.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have a look!
