Cooler for DS4/C2D system

Hi,

I am moving to a Core 2 Duo system and was wondering if my Thermalright xp120 will fit on a Gigabyte DS4 motherboard? If not, what HSF can I use on a E6300 OEM?

If it doesnt fit any cooler thats fits socket LGA775

Thanks. I have searched but can't find any info on whether it will fit. hmmm, not sure whether to order a new cooler with the rest of the stuff?

Just to confirm that the xp120 does fit the DS4 when used with the 775 adapter. Gives some lovely temps of 34 idle and 40 load (3.1 Ghz standard volts).

Went for the mini typhoon here. Looks the biz. All copper.
40c under load on my E6300 @ 3.15ghz stock volts.
