I've not done this overclocking lark in a few years so please be gentle.

Current PC is about 3 years old, decided to overclock it last night since it's starting to struggle a little with the latest entertainment titles. It’s an E6750 running on an Asus P5K-E Wifi. It's happily run Prime95 overnight at 3.2GHz on stock volts. Coretemp reports 55-57C at load.

Can anyone recommend a replacement CPU cooler to replace the stock Intel unit?

Trying to resist the special offer 5850 as well!

Something like this will give you a lot more overclocking headroom and keep temps nice and low though you will need to buy a fan separately. You should be able to hit 3.6GHz easily.

I have an E6750 with a ThermalRight cooler (120 something or other, I bought it years ago) and at 3.2Ghz it never goes beyond 50/51*C under full load. I've just gone for an E8400 as a nice (relatively) cheap upgrade.

I use CoreTemp to monitor the temps, which I hear is very accurate.
