advice much appreciated...
Looking for an 'every day' overclock at c. 40DBa for probably 5820k. (will upgrade to 8 core in the future)

Will AIO Water coolers perform better at less DBa than Air coolers?
performance more important than price.

Not considering DIY watercooling, its a 24/7 machine left unattended.
for up to a week. and i have no diy capability/sense.

The bottom radiator bay will be full of HDDs (and not a radiator)

The Cosmos II
  1. doesnt support Corsair AIOs like the H110 (due to screw placement).
  2. does support the largest air coolers.
  3. supports 3x120 or 2x140 fans on the top radiator bay

Has anyone had any luck mounting a radiator on the top side of the top radiator bay with fans underneath on this case...Never used AIOs before but presumably it would be better for the radiator to be radiating heating outside the case rather than in it (even if the fans are pushing/pulling air out).

A corsair h100i fits in the top, but yes you do not have much room above where the top of the motherboard finishes. was the reason why I sold my cosmos and went to a corsair 900d

could you mount the h100i in top section with only the fans inside the main case, for a push design?

I had heard that there was tight space between radiator+fan inside the case.
In which case could the fans be mounted outside in the top section alternatively? or is pulling air through a radiator rubbish compared to pushing?

i had head the corsair aios did not fit the screw holes on non corsair cases/screw mountings, is this not the case?

was given the cosmos II. A nice case to be given for sure, but cheap construction compared to what im used to with the antec performance series. The 900d looks nice..is it solid compared to cosmos II?

also do aios perform better than air coolers. i had always thought they were gimmicky; but its bean 8 yrs since i bought a pc and want to check my understanding.
