Can anybody tell me if the above case is any good?

I can pick one up quite cheap(New & boxed) & wondered if it was worth buying? as i like the look of it.

i saw one of these and considered buying it but i have to get aluminium cases.

The main question is how cheap is cheap. £20-£45 and i would go for it.

But anymore expensive and it is probably worth spending the extra and getting a pc7.

There are a few reviews of the case about. I found this

Conclusion

Pro's

* Very good looking
* Excellent build quality
* Door to hide drives
* Blue LED
* Cooling is excellent
* Removable drive trays
* Space for lots of drives
* Price
* Fitting of drives is very easy
* Easy access with the sidepanel handle
* Lockable side and front for security

Con's

* No reset switch
* No hard disc led
* Clearance for drives maybe an issue for some
* Heavy
* No thumbscrews
* No removeable motherboard tray

another pro is that if your house blew up the case would be left standing :)
i'm sure they are bullet proof.

i dont think the cooling is that bad, 2x80mm intake, 2x80mm out, but yar mine was noisey :(

as hyper says, it depends on the price.

Had one for 3 years. Great case. Might not be as efficient as today’s best designs, but doesn’t require ‘high cfm’. The noise signature of 3 x 80’s has the potential to be noisier than todays 120’s, but use the right fans at the right rpm: Nexus, Sharkoon Silent Eagle, Noiseblocker BlackSilent X2, and you’ll achieve cool and quiet. (you can mod the rears to twin 92’s, btw). As mentioned already, built like a tank (inc a thick door) which is another plus for quiet running. Go for it :cool:

Silver version, modded with a windowed black Chieftec panel:
