Cooler Master Cosmos 2?

I got my Cooler Master Cosmos 2 the other day and it is awesome! It is massive, yes but oh boy I have not regretted buying it! Plenty of room for everything! My fans don't make a ticking sound as others have said but I am only using the default fans provided. Only annoyance is that the fan controller makes a sound when you press a button to change the fan speed. Optical drives are super easy to install and the harddrive cooler is a great addition. I will upload some pics at some point so you can have a look.

I've upgraded from an NZXT Tempest EVO to this Cosmos and like I said. I have not regretted it!

Buy now!!!!

Edit: The side doors are a god send when you want to get into your system fast!

Did you need any extension cables when you did your transplant or was everything long enough?

I have bought loads of braided cables but only because I wanted to. If you install the hard drives in the bottom cages where the double cooler is you shouldnt have a problem with sata cable length. I will check sunday when I get home. The only extensions I needed was an 8pin EPS, 24pin and a molex to sata for my optical drive and it was litterly 1mm away from being connected. Other than that they are plenty long enough for me. I think my 24pin might of reached but may of been tight. Braided cables look nice in this case so I would get some to make this premium case look even better inside!

The only thing that worries me is m X-FI front panel, the cable that connects to the main card on the mobo, not sure what kind of calenit is or if it will be long enough.

Like the pics :)

They are plenty long enough! I have the front pannel connectors going all the way to the bottom and coming up through the grommit holes that seperates the top from the bottom. They are black as well so very smart. The USB 3 cable is very thick and looks top notch.

I will have some more pics for you on sunday. If you would like to see anything in more details, let me know and I will write a list and get the camera up and personal for you.

Thanks mate, given what you have said I should be good to go. Will have a crack this weekend. Thanks!!

Good choice! I constantly sit there and brush my fingers along the polished alluminium doors and open them and drool at the finished product :)

Total time to take out all the components from my old case and putting in my new one and working out all the cable mangement took about 3 hours.

When you first open it up you are presented with LOTS of cables. Most of which are for the fan controller. They are all labled for your convenience.

Good luck with the Cosmos and you will love it. The delivery driver on the other hand will not love delivering this as its 25kg out the box.
