Recently purchased this cooler, however the only way iv managed to mount it is vertically, see photograph below ;

The problem with this is its blowing the heated air from the GPU into the heat sink causing higher temperatures.

I want to fit it horizontal, but the bracket doesn't line up with the mounting screws.

Has anyone got this cooler and can advise if this is possible or not? or if there is a cooler master representative that can answer?

I've got it and mounted it vertically, it's blowing air towards back of case.

How you managed that?

I am using the x bracket provided but when mounting it the other way the heat pipes get in the way of the bracket if opened up fully and when it's too narrow the screws don't match up with the mounting holes.

You'll have to contact Coolermaster.

I had that heatsink and had the same issue. Coolermaster sent me the required bracket free of charge.

I can't remember what I did but it was a bit of a puzzle, and had the same issue, but re jigging the x bracket seemed to work? Think I moved it around or something, I didn't need to send off for any parts.

Thanks for the replies.

Iv managed to get it to fit.

Just encase anyone comes across this thread and is confused on what to do.

They need to take the x bracket apart and put it through the heatsink once in the correct way, rescrew the x bracket together.

Great cooler by the way very efficient.
