Hello
I received and set up a Cooler Master H500M.

I have some questions about it

I would like to put a led strip inside but the tape I have does not work on the RGB controller. Likewise, I can not connect it to the RGB jacks of the case because when plugged in, an unpleasant sound is heard. Would you have led strip RGB to advise me? (not ARGB since the fans are on the ARGB socket and I would like a strip of led with a fixed color)

I've ordered those, would it do the job?

I had to mount the fans above the radiator otherwise it did not pass, they are exhausted but outside the tower. Will this affect the performance? (view the pic)

Since the fan are not blowing through the rad, would that be an issue?

thank you

Elric,

Those LED strips are safe to use with most systems as they're powered directly from the PSU. There shouldn't be any issue with having the top fans above the rad in a pull configuration as there is still about 25mm of clearance from the fan to the tempered glass.

I had the same issue with those led strip when pluggued on the mb, an annoying noise. If plugged via the molex adapter, it was only blue and no way to change the color so i've ordered one of those :https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B077TL48VK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And i'm waiting for a second one and it's quite nice.

For the fan, when you say pull, what do you mean? I've always saw that aio fans on the top must be exhaust so but now they are on intake position with front fan set up as intake too and just the 140mm exhaust on the back and I so a big improvement in my temps. Went from 66c in some game to 57 :)

If your fans are sitting above the rad, then you should turn the fans over so that they are pulling air through the rad and blowing air out through the top of the case.
