Hi

I looked at coolers a while back but ran out of money/effort. The aim is to get my E6400 to 3Ghz. I have done it on stock cooling, but load temps of 90 degrees was bad news, so turned it back down. At the time I was stuck between the Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro and the Cooler Master Hyper TX 2. The F7 seemed to perform slightly better in some tests, so thought of that. But ive just noticed the TX2 is on offer at less than a tenner! Is it any good, or should I stump up the extra £7 for the F7?

I have got the Hyper TX and I am so happy with it that I am buying another one for a new build. Basically the performance is roughly the same as the ACF7 but a little bit quieter, but at the price OCUK are selling it at I reckon it is a bit of a no brainer.

Here is a review of the 2 coolers going head to head:

You will easily hit 3ghz+ with the Hyper and best of all it is one of the easiest Heatsinks you could ever wish to intall though it is pretty big.
