Hi, This is my first post, so apologies if this has been asked before. Im building myself a new PC and I've bought the Cooler Master ML240L RGB. The instructions tell you to plug the RGB cables into the supplied controller, but can I ignore that and plug the RGB cables into the RGB on the motherboard instead so the lights all sync up?

thanks in advance.

Martin

Yes, you can. Note: It is a 4 pin RGB header, not 3pin aRGB header that it should be plugged in to.
Thanks, yes there are two 4 pin RGB headers labelled RGB on the mother board, one for the case fans and the second is spare so i was gonna use that. One is labelled AURA RGB, and the other is Addressable RGB Header. Fyi the Mb is a ASUS ROG STRIX x570.

There should be 3:1 splitter that comes with it that you can plug both fans & the pump in to and then just use that 1 connection to plug directly in to a single 12V 4pin header on the motherboard.

Don't use anything that says addressable RGB, the ones on the ML240L are not addressable RGB. The specifically need a 4 pin 12V connector. Addressable RGB headers are normally 3pin 5V connectors.

Thanks, actually, just found that there is a second four pin RGB header so will use that. Thanks for the help.
