NR200 Owner's Thread

Main differences from the Corsair SF750 is
(1) Corsair you got Fanless up to 350w then the fan starts up in silent low RPM mode
(2) Corsair extra 50w of power
(3) Japanese Caps are rated higher @ 105°C on Corsair sf750 for heat
Silverstone SX700 85°C Rated electrolytic caps.
(4) Also, the Corsair SF750 got extra warranty 7 years, Silverstone SX700-PT is 5 years
(5) Silverstone cables are Flat black rubber & Corsair are Round black braided :)
(6) Corsair SF750 Comes with ATX to SFX Adaptor, Silverstone SX-700-PT Don't


I Had few SFX & L Silverstone PSU over the years, Only trouble was the early versions like
the SFX 600 Gold version 1 had 80mm fan that was Lauder & also troubles with a squeak high-pitched when the fan started up

& the Gold SFX500 L 120mm Fan version 1 had trouble with temp reading making the fan start & not stop even at idle

H1 is still available for Pre-Order.

Corsair PSU Situation hasn't changed. I have a back order in for stock but still nothing in the UK.
 
I'm so glad I built my SFF PC last September before the world stuff happened and knocked about supply chains. Just been using a smashed up Cougar QBX found in an independent PC repair shop as the case, so super hyped to get this NR200.
 
It must be Corsair having supply trouble due to the ongoing virus over there the US , Even if they are made in a factory elsewhere.
CM & the case should be soon if CM selling for £89 with riser adaptor,
I would guess they have a lot of Units to keep the price down

Corsair recalled something like nine months worth of SF-Series PSUs last month. That ate the first batch(es?) of stock out of China.

Word on r/SFFPC was that the next batch is due from China at the end of July.

Ah, I forgot about that, so corsair did recall them,
I did see posts that if you had a certain range in the Lot code on the side of PSU/Box you can return it, I checked my 2 x SF750s
a few weeks back,

Awesome thanks for the heads up, I just place a pre order as normal? This means I can place a new pre order for the case on the same order?

Just wary as it shows as out of stock not pre order, its in my basket right now

You may need to give the sales guys a call to pre-order.
If you give them a call they can ensure all the items you are after will be on the order.

Cheers, just spoke to someone but he said just to place the order online after I explained everything so I'll just do that and hopefully everything works out ok

Order placed, back in the pre order crew for the NR200P

Now I need to decide on motherboard, RAM, NVME, cooling etc

Ah that person Mounted an ATX in the NR200, ya many ways doing that if really needed to
& cant get an SFX/L

Nice chinky Setup.

He got Both panels in the Box, Guess for review.

I am now even more hyped for this case :)

Still going to place an order for the Silverstone SX700-PT,
I love the flat cables & since I already have the short cable kit.

Yeah that's the board I'm getting I think, I think I'm going to stick with my 2.5 SSD and ram for now and see what comes out next year for pcie4 nvme and see what ram works best with Ryzen 4000 before I buy new ram

Really looking forward to the build now, glad I got a SF750 sorted and looking forward to seeing what cooler and fan setups can be installed
