No you won't. Have confidence. Plan it and take your time. Plenty of people here will give you the advice you need and just think of the sense of achievement when it's done and you can say, "I did that!"

The key is planning and to take your time. {and not work amongst clutter, make appropriate space.}

Ok, so what tools and stuff do I need? Im guessing a jigsaw, some glue/sealant and perspex, but anything else?

you need a jigsaw... then a file or power sander... perspex and double sided tape to mount the window

Try contacting the shops you found stocking the black and see if they can get the silver for you
