Cooler options for a noisy NB fan

One noisy NB fan.. any suggestions for alternatives... as you can see it's placement is a big problematic.

Stick it on a fan controller

Don't think it'll help much it's a bearing type rattle more than a air noise ( although it is a 5000 RPM fan ).

Try the big blue zalman one but bend the pins outwards and downwards around the cards worked for many on here.

hehe I did wonder about that as an option.. whilst I'm not a quietness freak passive on the NB is tempting.
