Cooler problem

It is the artic cooler 7 pro.
I installed onto a board for testing because im am selling it.
The cooler went onto the board i was selling fine.
When i tried to install it onto my motherboard the clips would not push down into the board they look degraded already which i found veru disapointing from a cooler i have heard a lot good things about.
Well i just sent a picture through webnote i lost my order number and just put 11111111111111111 but they have my name and should know the item is legit with the 2 emails i sent them plus my account.
