cooler to replace nh-d14

Even though everyone seems to hate the h80I at the moment ( not me though ) I really do like mine ... its quiet ( compared to what I have been used to in the past ) and frees up lots of room in the centre of the case but if the H80i is not for you I would look at something along the lines of a sealed liquid unit.

Pump noise is only part of it.
Pump failure also a problem.
CLC just are not as dependable as air coolers. And being CLC you cannot top up the coolant.. which does get low of time.

Swiftech Maintenance-free statement for H220 states:
Maintenance-free
As shipped from our factory, the H220 CPU cooler requires no maintenance during its 3 year waranty period; a system refill is recommend at the end of 3 years. Under extreme ambient conditions, the system may need more frequent refills. If upgraded by the user, the interval of time between refills will depend on how users implement their customized loop.
And Swiftech has years of water cooling development/sales.. and is well respected.

Based on above how are Corsair H80, H100, H80i, H100i, H90, and H110 going to perform after 3 years?.. Oldest H80, H100 are what, 18 months old now? H80i & H100i released mid Novenber so 6 months old; H90 & H110 are even newer.

Edit:
@anthony566; I'm sure only a few are having problems. Trouble is even that few is too many if you are one of the people who have the problems.

Id still go fir the megahalems if I were you. Great performance single tower. Take a look at the fan clips too, they should make it a lot easier to remove the Fan if it does cover the RAM.

The armaggedon looks like it may fit better as only 50mm wide. Plus 27mm for fan. I the true spirit is the same however off set. I think I will have to draw out a plan off the mobo and draw out the cooler dimensions to see whats covered.
Im only planning on using 1fan on the cooler can a fan be mounted on both sides of the true spirit?

True Spirit 120 and 140 can have one or two fans. True Spirit 120M (4pipes) can too, but it's offset design is to clear RAM with fan mounted.

Same applies to Macho HR-02(6pipes) and Macho 120 (5pipes).

True Spirit 120 / 120M both cool the same. Macho 120 is about same too. Macho HR-02 is a few degrees better... usually. ;) But Macho HR-02 is also usually quieter.

|Megahalems is better cooling and has easier to use fan clips. I'm convinced the engineer who designed Thermalright fan clips is a sadist.

What case will it go into? i assume it big as rto be able to take the Noctua

Benfix prodidgy

Ive ordered a true spirit 120 can go wrong for £25.00 quid. the true spirit 140 seems to out perform the h60 so the 120 should give similar results to the h60. If i dont like it or want some more space in my case ill just sell it then go for corsair AIO. i will post some comparisons to the nh-d14 when i get a chance but i think ive made a good choice.:p

The True Spirit 140 performs well, and quietly, however it's quite tall, and the fan clips are a nightmare.

TrueSpirit 120 should perform similar to my old MUX-120, maybe a bit better. I would suspect around 62C-65C prime 95.
