Cooler?

Hey guy,

Just bought a new computer and i was woudnering would i need a Cooler for my chip.

Asus Striker II Extreme nForce 790i Ultra SLi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard,

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB),

Thats what ive got, I wont be doing OC'ing becuase i dont know how too. Would it be good to get a cooler? Or leave the stock one on?

The RAM i have on the mobo is

OCZ 4GB DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Platinum (2x2GB) Dual Channel DDR3 (OCZ3P13334GK),

what will this be like? also i have no idea how to OC i would have to research it!
